Nov 26, 1998:

Freight train no.5795 consisting of locomotives Di.3 624 and 603 hauling 26 freight carriages crashed into the stop block at Bodø station this morning at 08:00. The Di.3 624 was forced into the stop block and then elevated onto the stop block. The locomotive ended up tilted 30 degrees with the front cab up in the air pretty close to the station building. The engineer had to be taken to hospital slightly injured. Boggies and fuel tanks were ripped off the locomotive and it is not likely that this locomotive will be repaired due to the extensive damage. The other locomotive and the carriages suffered minor damages only.
