DSB of Denmark was the biggest customer of the classic round-nose NoHAB-GM diesel-types. They have purchased 45 MX (EMD 12-567D1, A1A'A1A', 1445 HP) and 59 MY (1101-1104: EMD 16-567B , 1105-1144: 16-567C and 1146-1159:16-567 D1, A1A'A1A', 1700-1900 HP) locomotives. Both series are out of regular duty now (but many of them are still in service at some private railway companies), but the last big locomotive-type built by the NoHAB-factory, the MZ (Co'Co', MZ I. 1401-1426 EMD 16-645E3, MZ II.1427-1446 20-645E3 and MZ III. 1447-1461 20-645E3, 3300-3900HP) are still running in large number (almost all MZ III's and also many MZ I's).
