As fast train 974 arrived to Tapolca on 21st of December 2000, a story
was over. It was the last ever scheduled train hauled by an M61-NoHAB-GM in Hungarian
railway's history. The next day M61,020 hauled the other three remaining
NoHAB-GMs (019,006,010) of Tapolca to Budapest.
In this gallery i try to give a summary about the last days and this final run.

normal here. Since June 1996 the NoHAB's weren't operating here in normal duty
and unfortunately some of them passed the station at Gárdony probably
for the very last time on 22nd December 2000, when all remaining M61's were
